This ShareAlike license waiver is granted using the registration form on openintro.org/private-license. This waiver concerns textbooks, labs, and other training material that have been solely developed by OpenIntro and made available under a CC BY-SA license. If derivative works of these OpenIntro materials are only shared with employees, paid interns, or paid contractors within one company and its subsidiaries, then the ShareAlike component of the license is waived for those derivative works. If those derivative works are at any point intentionally shared with an individual who is not an employee, paid intern, or paid contractor of the one company or that one company's subsidiaries, then the CC BY-SA license applies to the shared materials. If OpenIntro identifies what it believes is abuse of the intended purpose of this waiver, which is to support internal corporate training programs, then this waiver may be revoked by OpenIntro with a 30 day notice to the email address used during the registration of this waiver.

Be aware that this waiver does not affect non-OpenIntro materials, e.g. some photographs used in the textbooks.

Upon registration, you will receive an email, which is your confirmation that your waiver application was approved. Retain this email for your records. If needed, check your spam folder. If you do not receive the email, then your waiver has not been approved and you should contact us for more information.

The registration form will become available after we finalize the waiver.
